Courtyard and other rooms
There was never a courtyard as unique as the one at Casa de los Pájaros.
In this space, you’ll find flowerpots and a small pond. There is also a lily pond with koi carp and a little parsley frog, the perfect spot to relax while you watch them.
In summer, you can set up your barbecue in the courtyard if you wish. There’s a small water fountain that is always handy. The sound of the solar cascade and the water flowing over the stones is an added delight that will make your experience even more enjoyable.

Illustrations of other species
In the House of the Birds are many illustrations and not all of them are of birds, because the fauna is very diverse and beautiful. One of the most outstanding illustrations is the ocellated lizard.
Taking into account that I have never painted a reptile before, the challenge is not small if we also consider that the size is 240 cm long and more than 150 cm high. It is a very large mural that aims to show the delicate beauty of a species often mistreated by a superstitious and harmful reputation.
The species that you can find in this room are:
Ocellated Lizard
Lacerta lepida
This is an omnivorous reptile found in our fields with an incredible capacity for adaptation and survival. Its beautiful greenish and bluish colours stand out with the light blue ocelli that mark its sides and back. It is one of the most beautiful species of our fauna and can be a resource against insect plagues and as a regulator of populations of small mammals such as voles and mice, which it also hunts.
